Aalu Samosa

Samosa is a very famous Indian Snack. It seems hard to prepare for many but it is a very simple recipe and can me made by following some important tips which I have given in the end of the video. So make samosa at home and enjoy with tea with your family and friends.

1. For Dough-

 250g Maida (APF), 80ml Oil, 1tsp Salt, 12tsp Carom Seeds

2. For Sttuffing-

1/2kg Boiled Potato, 1/2Cup Frozen Peas, 1/2Cup Fresh Coriander,

1tbsp Chopped Green Chili, 1tbsp Dry Anardan Powder, 1tsp

Aamchur Powder, 1/2tsp Garam Masala, 1tsp Fennel Seeds, 1/2tsp

Mustard Seeds, 1/2tsp Black Salt, 1tsp Salt, 1tsp Cumin Powder,

1tsp Red Chili Powder, 1/2Cup Cashewnuts (Broken), 1/2Cup

Raisins, 2tbsp Oil, Oil for Frying.

Add salt, carom seeds and oil in maida. Mix well.

The flour should be like shown in the video.

Make a tight dough with chilled water.

Cover it and keep aside for 20 minutes.

Heat oil in a pan, crackle the mustard seeds and fennel seeds.

Add green chili and cook for a minutes.

Mash the potatoes and add in the pan.

Add peas and all spices.

Add cashews and raisins, fresh coriander and mix well.

Stuffing is ready. Allow to cool.

Take dough and make lemon size ball.

Roll into oval shape and divide into halves. Keep it little thick.

Make a cone and seal the joints with water.

Put 2-3tbsp stuffing into it and seal the ends with the help of water.

Prepare all the samosa like this and keep them standing.

Fry in hot oil on medium low flame.

Don't touch them unnecessarily. Turn them after 3-4 minutes.

This batch will take 8-10 minutes to fry.

Take out on a plate and serve hot.
