Rabdi or Rabri is a famous sweet dish of Mathura. Traditionally it is made in big iron kadai by halwai. It is rich and creamy and the small chunks of cream makes it more delicious. Presenting a small video of home made rabri.



Preparation And Cooking Time

Cooking Method :   

1 Liter Full Cream Milk

3/4 Cup Sugar

1 Tbsp Pistachio flakes

Few Saffron Strands

 Add milk in a kadai and boil.

Stir with a spoon and gather the malai formed on the sides of the kadai. Do this process on medium flame.

Scrap the gathered malai and add in the milk.

Cook for 5 minutes more, add sugar and cook. Add saffron.

Add pistachio flakes. Switch off the flame and let it cool completely.

Serve chilled.
