  200g Maida (APF)

  1/4 Cup Rava (Semolina)

  1/4 Cup Butter

  2tbsp Oil

  1/2tsp Carom Seeds

  A Handful Kasuri Methi (Dried Fenugreek Leaves)

  1tsp Salt

  1/2tsp Black Pepper

  A Pinch Soda

 

Tips in the end.

Mix maida, semolina, salt, black pepper, crushed carom seeds, baking soda and crushed kasuri methi.

Add butter and oil and mix properly till it forms clusters.

Knead into a tight dough with luke warm water. Cover and keep aside for 15 minutes.

Make small lemon size balls and flatten with thumbs.

Fry in hot oil on low flame. Increase the flame to medium and fry until light brown. Take out from oil.

Tips:

1. Knead with luke warm water.

2. Do not over knead.

3. Heat the oil on high flame and lower the temperature on low flame for 5 minutes. After fry the mathris in the oil on low flame.
