Easy to Make, Cost Effective, and made from very few ingredients which are easily available in your kitchen pantry. Good to serve as a dry snack and can be stored for a long period. Also a good festive snack.
1 Cup Rice flour
½ Cup Semolina
1 Tsp Butter
1 Tsp Cumin Seeds
Salt to taste
½ Tsp Black Pepper Powder
1 Cup water + More if needed
Oil for frying
1 Cup water. Add salt, black pepper and butter. Bring it to boil.
Now add cumin seeds and semolina.
Stir continuously and make a thick consistency like a upma or porridge.
Switch off the flame. Take out the batter in a big bowl.
Add rice flour in two three batches. Knead like a dough. If needed you
can add more water.
Cover it and keep aside for 10 minutes.
Grease the chakli maker with oil and place a star holed disc, fill the
dough in chakli maker.
Make chaklis with the maker. Make sure that you seal the ends of the
