Eggless Ice Cream Waffle Cone

Eggless waffle cones and bowls are easy and fun to make at home. They are crispy, delicious and the taste is better than market bought. You can fill ice creams, frozen desserts, fresh fruits and serve to guest and feel proud of yourself.

1/2 Cup All-purpose flour (maida)

  1/2 Tsp Baking Powder

  1/3 Cup Powdered Sugar

  1/4 Cup Melted unsalted butter

  1 Tsp Cocoa powder

  1 Tsp Vanilla essence

  1/2 Cup milk + more if required

For garnishing -

  Melted Dark chocolate

  Melted White chocolate

  Colorful sprinkles

1.       Mix sugar, baking powder in APF.

2.       Add vanilla essence and melted butter and mix well.

3.       Gradually add milk and make a paste.

4.       It should have a pouring consistency.

5.       Pour 2tbsp batter on non-stick pan and spread it with a spoon. The flame should be low.

6.       When sides turn brown flip it and cook for 30 seconds.

7.       Remove from pan and place on a kitchen towel.

8.       Fold it like a cone. This step should be done fast because if it cools down you will not be able to fold properly. Hold it for a minute.

9.       Again pour the batter on pan, spread, flip and take from the pan.

10.   For waffle cup place crepe on a bowl and press it gently with a small bowl. Wait for a minute and it's done.

11.   For chocolate waffle cone add cocoa powder and 1 tsp milk in the prepared batter. Mix well.

12.   Pour on hot pan, spread and make a thin crepe. Remove from pan and fold it like a cone.

13.   For garnishing, dip prepared cone in melted dark or white chocolate and then in colorful sprinkles.

14.   Homemade crispy ice-cream waffle cones are ready!!!
