Aalu Lachhcha

Aalu lachhcha is very easy and instant to make. These are crispy and perfect for fasting days. You can prepare falahari chivda using this also which I have already uploaded on my channel.

Fasting Food

Cooking Method :   

 2 large red skinned potato

 1/2 tsp Black pepper powder

 1/4 tsp Citric acid

 1 tsp Rock salt

 1 tsp Sugar powder

Take red skinned potatoes for best results. Peel them.

Take a big holed grater because after frying they will shrink.

Grate potato with the grater.

Soak them in water for 30 minutes.

Now squeeze water from the potato lachchhas (juliennes).

Do not touch the bottom of the pan because the potato starch gets collected in the bottom.

Now spread all the grated potato on a kitchen towel and tap with another towel for drying extra water.

Now they are perfect for frying.

Fry in hot oil on high flame.

Don't touch immediately or else they will stick to each other.

Flip them and fry till they become crispy.

Take out them on a tissue paper.

Look!! how crispy they are.

Add all spices and mix well.

Crispy homemade aalu lachchha is ready...!!!
