Mango Shrikhand

Mango shri khand is a famous yogurt based sweet. It is rich and creamy in taste. Here I have given a video which shows step by step recipe with homemade curd and perfect for biginners. This summer relish homemade mango shri khand.

1kg Fresh curd

  1+ 1/2 Cup powdered sugar

  1 Cup fresh mango pulp

  1 tbsp Pistachio flakes

  1/2 tsp Cardamom Powder

  1/2 Cup Finely chopped mango.

Place a siever in a big vessel. Keep a cheese cloth or a muslin cloth over it. Add curd in the cloth and tie it and hang for 5-6 hours or overnight. Keep a vessel under the cloth so that we can collect all the excess water.

You can use this water for making curry, dal and kneading dough.

Remove hung curd from the cloth and collect in a vessel.

Mash it with the help of spoon. Add powdered sugar and mango pulp. Mix well.

Mix it with a hand blender till it becomes creamy.

Add pistachio flakes and cardamom powder, chopped mango and mix.

Creamy, delicious mango shrikhand is ready!! Keep in fridge and serve chilled.
