Stuffed Malai Pyaj

  7-8 Small onions

  1/4 Cup Fresh malai

  1/4 Cup Fresh curd

  1 tsp Red chilli powder

  1tsp Coriander powder

  1/2 tsp Dry mango powder (Aamchur)

  1/4 tsp Turmeric powder

  1tsp Onion seeds (kalonji)

  1/2 tsp Cumin seeds

  2 Green chilli chopped

  1tsp fennel seeds

  Salt to taste

  1tbsp Oil

Peel the onions and wash them with water.

Make two slits in onions with a sharp knife.

For stuffing add chilli powder, coriander powder, turmeric powder, dry mango powder, fennel seeds, chopped green chilli, salt in a plate. Mix well.

Fill the prepared stuffing in the onions.

Heat oil in a pan.

Crackle onion seeds and cumin seeds.

Add stuffed onions into the pan.

Stir well.

Sprinkle some water and cover it with lid.

Allow it to cook on low flame for 7-8 minutes.

Add curd and malai. Stir gently.

Give it a stir.

Switch off the flame.

Delicious stuffed malai pyaj is ready to serve.
