Beetroot Potato Puri

New session of school is starting and it hard to motivate kids to finish their lunch box in school. Presenting a very simple, healthy recipe. Can be made in minutes.

Indian Flat Bread, Chhapati

Cooking Method :   

  1 Cup Whole wheat flour

  1 Boiled and grated potato

  1/2 Cup beetroot puree

  1 Tbsp Semolina (rava)

  1/2 Tsp Salt

  1/2 Tsp White pepper powder

  1 Tsp Oil

  1 Tsp Carom seeds

Add flour, semolina, salt, pepper powder, carom seeds in a bowl and mix well.

Add grated potato and beetroot puree. Make a tight dough using water.

Add oil and knead it for 2-3 minutes.

Cover and keep aside for 10 minutes.

Uncover and knead for a minute.

Make small balls from the dough.

Grease the balls with oil and prepare small discs with a rolling pin.

Fry in hot oil. Take them out.

Enjoy delicious beetroot potato puri !!
