Tutty Fruitty Rava Cake

Tutti Frutti rava cake is a very simple cake recipe. It is delicious and tasty. You and your family can relish it any time . Kids will love it because of colorful tutty fruitti.

Cooking Method :   

1 cup roasted rava (semolina)

1/2 Maida (all purpose flour)

1 cup Powdered sugar

1/2 cup butter

1/2 fresh curd

1 cup milk

1/2 cup tutti fruity

1tsp baking powder, 1tsp baking soda, 1/4 tsp salt,

1 tbsp vanilla essence

Soak roasted rava in milk, keep aside for 10 minutes.

Beat Butter and sugar until it become smooth.

Add curd and mix well.

Add soaked rava, maida, salt, baking powder, baking soda, salt and mix gently.

Add tutti fruitty.

Pour in greased and lined cake mould.

Tap the cake mould and sprinkle some tutti fruitty.

Bake it for 35 minutes on 180degree in preheated oven.

Now cover it with foil and bake for another 5-10 minutes on 160 degree.

Take out the cake from the oven, keep on wire rack for cooling.

When it is completely cooled, demould it gently.

Remove the parchment paper.

Slice the semolina cake & enjoy with tea and coffee.
