Falhari Chivda is a mixture of nuts, sago, potato julians and sices. It can be eaten during fasts which provides required energy and nutrients.

Dry Snacks

Cooking Method :   

1/2 Cup Dried Potato Julienne

1/2 Cup Nylon Sago (Sabudana) (Available in market for frying)

1/4 Cup Groundnuts (Peanuts)

1/4 Cup Almonds (Cut in two halves)

1/4 Cup Cashew Nuts (Cut in two halves)

1/4 Cup Raisins

1tsp Rock Salt

1tsp Black Pepper

1/4 tsp Citric Acid

Fry cashew nuts and almonds in hot oil for 30 seconds separately.

Fry groundnuts in hot oil for two minutes and take out.

Fry raisins in hot oil and take them out immediately.

Fry dried potato julienne in hot oil till they are crispy.

Fry sago in hot oil for 3-4 minutes. Be careful when they pop in hot oil.

Add rock salt, black pepper and citric acid in the fried ingredients and mix well.

Enjoy eating during fast or store it in an air-tight container.
