A simple recipe for home made Salted Caramel Sauce that is perfect topping for ice cream, cakes, chocolates, pop corns and many more. You can store in an air tight container in fridge for 15-20 days.
1 cup sugar
4 tbsp Unsalted Butter
1/2 cup cream
1/2 tsp salt
Add sugar in nonstick heavy bottomed pan.
Melt sugar on low flame, don't stir sugar unnecessarily.
Sugar has started to melt.
Stir it with a wooden spatula to prevent sugar from burning.
Keep patience, the results will be awesome.
Don't increase the flame.
When sugar is dissolve properly, switch off the flame.
Add butter and stir till it dissolves properly.
Set aside to cool. The sauce will thicken as it cools.
Look!! Now it has become quite thick.
Drizzle the salted caramel sauce on ice-cream, chocolates or cakes and enjoy!!!
