Schezwan Sauce

Schezwan sauce is a spicy sauce. It is a multipurpose sauce and dip. You can use it in many recipes and can create your own new recipe.

Basic Ingredients

Cooking Method :   

25g Kashmiri Red Chili (Soaked Overnight)

1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Garlic

1/2 Cup Finely Chopped Ginger

1tbsp Tomato Ketchup

2tbsp Vinegar

1.5 tsp Salt

2tsp Sugar

1/2 Cup Oil

Make a smooth paste of red chili in a mixer.

Heat oil in a pan.

Add garlic and cook for a minute on low flame.

Add ginger and cook for more 2-3 minutes on low flame.

Add chili paste and cook for 5minutes on low flame.

Add tomato ketchup, sugar and salt and mix.

Now add vinegar and cook for a minute. Switch off the flame and allow to cool.

Grind the sauce with a hand blender. If required (Optional)

Store it in an air tight glass jar.

Hot and spicy schezwan sauce is ready...!!
