Sev tamatar is a spicy and tangy curry. Also it is a quick recipe. You can make it to give a new taste to your taste buds.
1/2 cup finely chopped onion 1/2 cup finely chopped tomato
1 tbsp chopped green chili 1 tbsp grated ginger
1/4 cup fresh coriander 1 tsp red chili powder
1 tsp salt 1 tsp coriander powder 1/4 tsp turmeric powder
1/2 tsp garam masala 1 tsp cumin seeds
2 tbsp oil
2 cup spicy ratlami sev/ thick spicy vermicelli
Heat oil in a pan and
crackle cumin seeds.
Add ginger and green
chili and cook for 1 minute.
Add onion and cook till
they are light brown.
Add turmeric powder,
coriander powder, chili powder, salt and cook for one minute.
Add tomato and saute it.
Add little water, cover and cook till tomato
Open the lid and slightly
mash the tomatoes.
Add one glass water and
bring to boil.
Add Sev and cook for 4-5
Add garam masala and
fresh coriander, mix well.
Switch off the flame and
serve hot with chapati or naan.
